Jo Kupu grew up in the Pacific, moving to Tonga as a child. She has spent a life time living in unusual places collecting art and learning along the way, having always painted in one form or another and has always wanted to paint pictures that make people smile. Jo has also played an active and very important role in the conservation of turtles in Tonga.
The Pasific Fusion Design Store & Art Gallery is now located in Portobello Village, Dunedin in New Zealand after Jo recently moved there to be with family, but she still retain the strong ties and influences from the Kingdom of Tonga which is displayed in her art.
