Shipping

We aim to ship most purchases via international air freight within 5 to 7 days following the receipt of payment, unless stock items are low or the stallholder/manufacturer has to make the item up specifically. Please allow 7 to 21 days for delivery.

Once you have confirmed your order we know how important it is for you to know when to expect your order to arrive, especially if you have ordered something for a special occasion. All stallholders at www.madeintonga.com are conscious of providing good customer service and every effort will be made to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Orders will be shipped from The Kingdom of Tonga to our logistics agent in Auckland or Tauranga, New Zealand. Then the orders are distributed worldwide. For orders shipped within New Zealand we use a tracked courier service with Courier Post.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates vary and are dependant on the destination and the weight of the item. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. If there is a variation in the shipping charge, we will email you and let you know the difference. This may occur when the item purchased is a large size or where multiple purchases have been made the calculation may not always be accurate. If this is the case, we will email you with the correct charge.

Customs and Duty

Items may be subject to customs requirements and also import duties and taxes once your order reaches the respective country of destination. Please note we will not be held responsible for any delays caused by Customs in the recipient country, this also includes parcels that are detained or confiscated if they are deemed prohibited by the customs authority in the recipient country.
Any duties and taxes, which are levied by the authorities in the destination country, are at your cost. Also shipping fees are not refundable for undeliverable or refused shipments.

Restricted products

Some products may be restricted or not allowed in some countries.  Responsibility for this rests with the purchaser and if you are not sure if the items you are ordering are permitted in your country then it is solely your responsibility to check.
For deliveries to high risk countries we will request proof of identity documents, this also pertains to any products with age restrictions.

Parcel(s) unclaimed

In the event that a parcel is unclaimed by a customer in the recipient country and is returned back to us, we are not obligated to provide a refund to the value of the product. We will however provide the option of resending the item(s) with any additional shipping costs incurred resting with the customer(s) concerned.

Lost-in-delivery

If by chance you have still not received your order after 30 working days due to goods being "lost-in-delivery", you are advised to contact us . We can then assist in tracking your order and advising on the status of the parcels delivery.
